State University, the North Carolina native and pastor's son has been pastor at UBC since the summer of 1990.
He is a gifted preacher/ communicator, bringing insight
from Scripture to the pulpit each week, as well as
ministering to the wide variety of congregants who
worship at
UBC regularly.
He and Betty have three children (Andrew, Aaron and Ellie) who are actively involved at UBC.

Allison James
Director of Children's Ministries
Allison has been a member at UBC for some time, but has just recently joined the staff to work with our preschoolers and children.
She and Chuck (pictured with her at the UBC Renaissance Faire) have two children Chelsea (who is away at college) and Alex who is active at UBC... and we do mean "active"!
